Migliera zone has plenty of greenery, with a dense growth of small trees and shrubs typical of the Mediterranean area, plus some kinds of trees here planted at the beginning of last century: pines and holm oaks, together with myrtle, acanthus, genista and several species of multicolor flowers, among which the Alpine Star of the Sea and the Blu of Capri (as Lithodora is named here).
Until 19th century the road to the Migliera passed through a thick wood of oak trees, which had been cut for the needs of building and home heating. Few of them remain in a place called Cerchi, linked through a steep shortwalk to the area of the Lighthouse too.
